Il Palio
Recommend going for Il Palio - the actual day of the race is super crowded but the week or so leading up is a fun time to be in the city since there are loads of people out and about every night and lots going on in general. Watch the practice races from near the railing - you’ll get a lot better view than on the day of the actual race.
